Gillette Super Speed safety razor with NO date code, Twist to open, uses regular double edge blades.VINTAGE 1950 GILLETTE SUPER-SPEED DOUBLE EDGE SAFETY RAZOR IN GOOD CLEAN WORKING CONDITION. THE RAZOR MEASURES 3 1/4 INCHES IN LENGTH & IS MADE IN THE USA. A ONE PIECE TWIST TO OPEN RAZOR,TWISTING THE BOTTOM OF THE RAZOR OPENS THE HEAD. THE RAZOR HAS BEEN GIVEN A LIGHT CLEANING.
DURING THE 1950's, THE GILLETTE SUPER-SPEED RAZORS WERE VERY POPULAR AMONG MANY WET SHAVERS. SUPER-SPEED RAZORS ARE NICELY BALANCED AND HAVE AN EXCELLENT HEAD DESIGN. THE 1950 SUPER-SPEED HAS THE NOTCHED CENTER BAR. THE RAZOR STILL SHINES AND WOULD MAKE A VERY GOOD DAILY SHAVER, THERE IS ONE MISSING END CAP WHICH DOESN'T MINIMIZE THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE RAZOR. ALSO INCLUDED ARE 2 PACKS OF COLLECTABLE NOS BLADES JUST TO GET YOU STARTED, STILL WRAPPED IN THE ORIGINAL PLASTIC.

When I describe an object as 'VINTAGE' or 'ANTIQUE' they will have the typical wear and tear you would expect with an older piece. Light scratches, scuffing & crazing and such like would be expected as opposed to a NEW condition. If an item is in MINT condition I will say so. If an item has any major issues - dents, deep marks, stains or heavy scratches etc. I will bring these to your attention in my description.
