The Alpine Kiln has been designed to meet the requirements of those who want a versatile kiln constructed with high quality at a low price.

Designed to fire ware such as porcelain, stoneware, gold, china paint and ceramics, the kiln will meet a variety of needs found in the classroom or studio by the professional ceramist and hobby ceramist as well.

This particular model EHK-3 kiln comes with the following: Dawson Kiln Sitter – This kiln shut off device is operated by placing a junior cone in the holding brackets of the device. When the desired temperature has been reached and the cone has melted, a switch is tripped shutting the kiln off. The Kiln Sitter protects the kiln from being overfired as well as preventing possible damage to your ware.

Indicating Pyrometer – This accessory indicates temperature in degrees Fahrenheit inside the kiln. This is particularly useful in determining the temperature progression of the kiln and as a guide to determining the time of cone maturity.
